I currently have what feels like a million tabs opened on my laptop because I am working on a paper. And it is a bit annoying. But I need them and can’t close them. The struggles.
Today’s journal prompt is to write down a happy memory…
While thinking of this, I realized that a lot of my happy memories are with my family. When I go visit my grandparents, we make an effort to spend the afternoon at the beach. We bring the doggie, sit under a coconut tree, people-watch, drink and get a pizza. Its such a simple thing, but a happy memory.
Another time that always makes me smile when I think about it was summer 2019. My grandparents needed to see their eye doctor, so my uncle and I joined and made it a fun family day (since it was in the north of the island and we live in the south). There was a lot of laughing and making jokes. We also had lunch. Though that day ended up with me getting stranded.
Story: my grandfather reversed a little bit onto someone’s vehicle near a doctor’s office. I went to find to ask them someone, while they dealt with that. and I came back to them not being there. My purse was still in the vehicle. All I had was my Canadian phone that I could not even use. I always tease them for leaving me.
If you have no idea what I am talking about, this month I am challenging myself to complete a journal prompt every day. I made an entire post about it and listed all the prompts there.

Can I just say that you have the cutest doggie ever?! ❤
