I was actually just working on a bit of a fun post for tonight, but just spoke to my grandmother and got some bad new AGAIN!!!. Honestly, I don’t see myself finishing it because I am not in the mood. This time its not about my grandparents, and instead its about my uncle.
I won’t go into it too much because its not my story to tell, but yesterday evening he went to cash a cheque and he was robbed. His options were the money or his life. Obviously, he choose his life. And with everything going on, that money that he lost could have gone a long way, paying bills and buying groceries.
I have been in 3 situations where I have almost almost been robbed and its fucking scary.
What is the world that we live in? Does the bad shit ever stop? Or are some people more lucky than others?

Whoa! Was this in Canada or a different country? I have heard stories of robberies but to be caught in one would be super terrifying. Glad he is safe though, but still scary nonetheless.

It did not happen in Canada but in the Caribbean, which is where my family lives. But I did have a scary/creepy may have been robbed situation that happened at my school almost 2 years ago.
And I will say, it is a scary situation to ever be in.

I heard that there are a lot of robberies in the Caribbean, but also in Canada as well. Wow, I couldn’t imagine what it would be like to be caught in a situation like that. It’s good that you were safe.
