With Christmas around the corner, I thought it would be nice to share holiday movies that I consider a classic and I think are worth watching. I may not be a movie person, but I don’t get tired of these movies often. And since I have no plans this year, will probably spend the day watching some of them
Home Alone 1 (1990) & 2 (1922)
There is no explanation. Its a classic. Its hilarious and who would have known that a kid could outsmart thieves. The other home alone movies are not worth your time.
“Merry Christmas ya filthy animal.”
Santa Claus 1 (1994), 2 (2002) & 3 (2006)
They are fun. I watched them a lot when I was a kid. I think the 2nd one is my favourite because of Comet and the tooth pulling scene
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)

Its another classic that I watched as a kid and I still enjoy watching. And the more I watch it, the more I like the grinch. His just lonely and innocent. Plus he has a cute dog. There is an animated movie of The Grinch and I think I will give it a try.
Elf (2003)

Fun fact, I do not really like Elf that much. I don’t know why. But I will still admit that its a good movie.
“OMG SANTA I KNOW HIM”
Christmas with the Kranks (2004)

That one is just hilarious. There is frosty, the botox and the hickory honey ham. How can you not love this movie. Also you can’t just skip christmas.
Almost Christmas (2016)

This is a newer one but its awesome. The Christmas dinner scene is my favourite thing ever because “every time grandma come out, something different start to happen”. If you know, you know.
Dennis the Menace Christmas (2007)

It has been a while since I watched this movie, and maybe I should go back to it. But I remember loving Dennis the Menace movies because every time he tries to help, he ends up making Mr. Wilson’s life miserable. Lets just say he may have ended up with chiclets rather than the two front teeth on his dentures.
Cheesy Netflix and Hallmark Christmas Movies
I know this is not an actual movie, but had to include it. I don’t know about you, I enjoy watching them. Don’t get me wrong, there are some good ones, but most of them are the same concept just with different actors, set in different locations with different conflicts.
And that is my list of holiday movies. I know a lot of those movies are older and even older than me, but I enjoy watching them.
What movies do you enjoy watching and which ones do you think I should try?
